If this error occurs in Snappic, it indicates a connection issue.
Double-check the data cable connections between the camera and the iPhone or iPad running Snappic. For the most stable connection, we highly recommend using USB 2.0 data cables with a maximum length of 3.3 ft (1 m) for each connection:
iPhone/iPad to the Glambot® pedestal
Camera to the data port on Arm 2
Try using a different cable to see if the issue persists. For the most stable connection, see our recommended USB cables and adapters. You can also review our setup guide to ensure all settings are configured correctly when using a Canon R8 camera.
If Snappic still cannot connect to the camera, try bypassing the data port on the pedestal. Connect the iPhone or iPad data cable directly to the data port on the bottom of Arm 1—the section of the arm with the Glambot® logo.
