If you are using Snappic on an iPad while running a wired connection to your camera (GoPro, Canon R8, etc.), you will need a magnetic wireless iPad charger or an Apple USB-C to Digital AV Adapter in order to charge your iPad simultaneously. Follow the instructions below for your preferred method:
MAKE SURE TO PURCHASE THE MAGNETIC CHARGER MADE FOR YOUR SPECIFIC IPAD MODEL. CHECK THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE PURCHASING. ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH CERTAIN IPAD MODELS.
Setup everything as normal, ensuring enough space on the back of the iPad/stand for the wireless charger to connect.
USE A GENUINE APPLE ADAPTER. OTHER BRANDS MAY CAUSE CONNECTION ISSUES
Use the USB-C port on the left side of the adapter to connect to power
Use the USB-A port on the right side of the adapter to connect to the USB-C data port on the Glambot® (you will need to use a USB-A to USB-C Cable)
If experiencing camera connection issues, bypass the data port on the pedestal and connect the iPad data cable directly into the data port on the bottom side of arm 1 (the section of the arm with the Glambot® logo).
