E17A / E17B Motor Engagement Error

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Software 3.17.X and later

If the robot is failing to start the calibration sequence and displays a motor engagement error:

  1. Make sure that the [Ready/Reset] switch on the pedestal of the Glambot is in the [READY] position

  2. Check cable 16 and ensure proper connection to lift motor brake.

Software 3.6.X and older

If the robot is failing to start the calibration sequence and displays a motor engagement error, arm 1 wasn’t properly supported during initialization. Support arm 1 and restart the Glambot. If the error persists, follow the steps below:

  1. Orient arm 2 vertically. Note: even the slightest movement to vertical or away from vertical may be needed

  2. Check cable 16 and ensure proper connection to lift motor brake
