An error occurred while rendering the video. The framework failed while reading media data from [Timeline Clip 3 (App Recorded Video)]:VideoMediaSource. Invalid Sample cursor

If the device shows this recording error, format the SD card using the steps for your camera below:

GoPro:

  1. Ensure the SD card is in the camera and the camera is powered on

  2. Swipe down on the touch display (Hero 11/10/9 Black, swipe left after swiping down)

  3. Tap [Preferences]

  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap [Reset]

  5. Tap [Format SD Card]

  6. Tap [Format]

  7. Restart the GoPro

Canon R8:

  1. Ensure the SD card is in the camera and the camera is powered on

  2. Press the [Menu] button

  3. Navigate to the [Settings] tab, then select [1]

  4. Select [Format Card]

  5. Tap [OK]
