Camera Mount Installation
Proper mount installation is critical for smooth Glambot® footage. Follow these steps exactly to ensure your camera is mounted correctly.
1. Attach the mounting rod
Using the two included screws, attach the mounting rod to the Glambot® wrist end effector as shown below.
2. Install the slider plate
Attach the slider plate to the camera as shown in the photo below.
Position it as close to the battery door as possible.
Make sure the battery door can still open fully.
3. Install the hanger
The hanger will block access to the battery door once installed.
Before continuing, install your battery or dummy battery.
Then, slide the hanger onto the camera and tighten the wingnut until it is securely fastened.
Important: Do not install the hanger with the battery door facing downward (the opposite orientation shown). This places the camera's weight off-center and can cause instability or shaky footage.
4. Mount the camera onto the rod
From behind the robot, slide the camera onto the right side of the mounting rod.
Do not mount the camera on the opposite side. Doing so shifts the camera's center of gravity and can result in instability or shaky footage.
5. Confirm Correct Placement:
The camera is mounted on the right side of the rod (when looking from behind) and centered on the wrist.
The camera is as close to the mount rod as possible, with little to no gap inbetween the camera and the rod.
The camera is centered on the wrist when looking from a side angle
