E14 Stepper Communication Error

Follow these steps to check USB connections to the arm board (located inside the tower on the lower left wall)

  1. Check that all assembly related cables are connected. If any connection is corrected at any point, restart the system.

  2. Check the USB Cable connection to the PC.

  3. Turn off and unplug power to the Glambot®. Leave unplugged for at least 2 minutes to reset the power board.

  4. If the error persists, remove the front cover, turn power on to the system and check the status lights:

    1. If all lights 3x Orange LEDs are on, check if the USB cable is connected to the arm board

    2. If NO lights are on, check if Cable 15 (Cable 26 for Event pro 3 and newer) is connected to the arm board and 12V distribution board

If the error persists, one or more of the USB ports on the PC may have been damaged during assembly or disassembly. Try using a USB multiport hub to connect the two usb cables to the mini PC.
