Version 3.17.X and later:
If there is a noticeable delay from the time the Glambot® path starts to when the video begins recording, use the advanced settings to adjust the recording trigger. This will adjust the time the robot waits before triggering the camera recording:
[0] is the default, recommended for a wired DSLR camera connection.
[+0.25] is recommended for a wired GoPro connection.
[+0.5] is recommended for a wireless GoPro connection.
Note that cameras and cables can vary in the exact timing and synchronization with the robot. Adjust as needed and use whichever setting triggers the recording closest to the beginning of the robot movement for your specific setup.
Additional Settings:
If using a Canon R8 or similar, ensure that the Movie self-timer, is set to [OFF]. This setting can be found under tab 2 of the recording settings on a Canon R8 in automatic mode.
Version 3.6.X:
In the advanced settings, change the connection type to [Bluetooth]. This will trigger the recording approximately 0.5 seconds earlier than the [USB] setting.
