Connection Failed: Could not connect to the GoPro. Failed to connect to the GoPro Bluetooth peripheral. The operation timed out.

If Snappic displays this failure to connect error, the connection to the GoPro has been interrupted. Follow the steps below to reconnect the device:

  1. Unplug the USB cable from the GoPro

  2. Navigate to the Bluetooth settings on the iPhone/iPad and forget the connection to the GoPro

  3. Swipe down on the touch display (Hero 11/10/9 Black, swipe left after swiping down)

  4. Tap [Preferences]

  5. Tap [Wireless Connections]

  6. Tap [Reset Connections]

  7. After resetting, go back to [Wireless Connections]

  8. Tap [Connect Device]

  9. Tap [GoPro Quik App]

  10. Install/Open the GoPro Quik App on the device running Snappic

  11. Navigate to the [GoPro] Tab

  12. Tap [Connect a GoPro]

  13. Tap [Connect Camera]

  14. Reconnect the USB connection from iPhone/iPad to the GoPro

  15. The GoPro should now display [USB Connected] and show up as a wired connection
