Choppy/Low-Quality Slow Motion Video Output

Updated over 3 weeks ago

If the Snappic processed videos are turning out choppy or low quality when applying the slow-motion, paparazzi, or other effects, it is likely due to the frame rate or resolution being set too low.

  • For ALL CAMERAS, set the resolution to 1080p

  • For GoPro, set the frame rate to 240fps

  • For Canon R8, set the frame rate to 180fps

  • Always use the highest frame rate that your camera allows for to acheive the smoothest slow-motion video output

In addition to changing these settings on the camera, you may need to change them in Snappic as it will override the settings on the camera itself.

  • For GoPro, check the video AND slowmo tabs to make sure the settings are aligned

  • For Canon R8 or DSLR, check the image tab and ensure the correct settings
