If the web control app is unable to connect or isn't loading the webpage, there are a few likely causes.
The URL is incorrect. Confirm that you are using the correct URL where the xxxx is replaced with your glambot® number: glambot-xxxx.local:8080
Note that there should be NO other characters, letters, etc in the url. Do NOT add 'http' or 'www' in front of the url.
e.g. if you're unit number is 0001, the url is: glambot-0001.local:8080
The control iPad is not connected to the Glambot Wi-Fi signal. To connect:
Remove http:// and https:// from the URL. There should be nothing infront of or behind the Glambot® URL: glambot-xxxx.local:8080
The date and time may be incorrect. Navigate to your device [Settings] - [General] - [Date & Time] and turn on [Set Automatically]. If this is already on, try turning it off, manually changing the date to a random day/time, then turning automatic back on to reset to the correct date & time.
In the network connection settings, turn OFF [Private Wi-Fi Address]
Turn OFF [Limit IP Address Tracking]
Turn the Wi-Fi off and back on again
Forget the network and reconnect
Try connecting on a different device (iPad, iPhone, Tablet, or Laptop)
If the IPv4 Address configuration is set to manual, switch to automatic and let it generate a new IP address.
If none of the steps above resolve the issue, there may be significant Wi-Fi interference in the venue that is affecting the Glambot® hotspot signal. While this is rare, the most reliable solution is to connect via Ethernet.
For instructions on connecting via Ethernet, see THIS ARTICLE.
