Proper guest placement is critical in Glambot® filming because the robotic arm’s movement, camera focus, lighting, and framing are all calibrated to a precise focal point. Standing too far in front of or behind the mark can lead to soft focus, poor framing, or cutting the guest out of the shot.
Positioning:
The optimal placement is 8 ft (2.44 m) from the center of the robot base, which is roughly 3 ft (0.91 m) from the extended arm. Place a clear floor marker or “X” at this spot — this ensures guests consistently land in the optimal position for high-quality, repeatable shots.
